Do not walk if you are feeling unwell. Carry your own hand sanitiser. In case of an emergency ensure you have with you a face mask and first aid pack.
Inevitably, the route will go through gates and over stiles that other people will have touched. It may have narrow sections that mean you will be passing close to other people.
This walk has steep climbs and some scrambling but the rewards of excellent views are worth the effort. The initial part is gentle, navigating our way to the start of Heather Terrace, then the climbing really starts. At the end of the terrace we then turn north to reach the famous peak of Tryfan. We will head back down to Bwich Tryfan and then start the last major climb to the Gylder Fach. The walk continues along the ridge to reach Gylder Fawr from there we will follow the path back down to the A5 passing Devil’s Kitchen and Llyn Idwal. The last couple of kilometres is along a path on the north side of Llyn Ogwen returning us to the start.
