2 dogs allowed

From the car park area we make our way along the road to Oscroft village taking the left fork at the triangle. We pass Oscroft Hall on the right and join the footpath to the left which travels over open farmland to Pryor Hayes golf course. NB. Care must be taken to keep to the footpath when crossing the golf course and to avoid getting in the way of golfers on the course.
When we join the Eddisbury Way we will be making our way through old orchards to Weetwood Common where we will have a coffee stop.
We cross Willington Rd and walk on the edge of maize fields to The Commons. We leave the trail here and pick up a grassy track which leads us back to Oscroft where we will be having our Charity Picnic.

Very flat. Minor roads, footpaths, golf course, tracks, and fields. No significant muddy areas on day of recce. Some of the fields are uneven. Nev has cut down nettles and briars on the route. There are about 10 stiles and some of them are narrow and wobbly.
