Do not walk if you are feeling unwell. Carry your own hand sanitiser. In case of an emergency ensure you have with you a face mask and first aid pack.
Inevitably, the route will go through gates and over stiles that other people will have touched. It may have narrow sections that mean you will be passing close to other people.
This is a circular walk taking in the heights above Prestatyn and the two view points of Gop Hill and Graig Fawr.
Starting from the village of Trelawnyd, we warm up with a gentle ascent of Gop Hill which, if it’s clear of cloud, should offer good views of the area and the rest of the walk. We then follow the Clwydian Way across fields and along lanes first north and then west to the edge above Prestatyn. We head SSW along the edge picking up Offa’s Dyke path until we reach our second view point, Graig Fawr.
We return along Offa’s Dyke path to Marian Mill Farm from where a good track leads back to Trelawnyd.
