Covid-19

Do not walk if you are feeling unwell. Carry your own hand sanitiser. In case of an emergency ensure you have with you a face mask and first aid pack.
Inevitably, the route will go through gates and over stiles that other people will have touched. It may have narrow sections that mean you will be passing close to other people.

This is a circular walk from The Boat Inn at Erbistock. Starting at the car park we follow the banks of the Dee then ascend through woodland to open farmland and quiet roads. We finally return to the Dee further upstream and descend back to the inn.
At the time of the recce the banks of the river and the woodland were a mass of bluebells, celandines, primroses and wild garlic. The views of the river are beautiful.
A warm welcome awaits us at The Boat. There is a very pleasant outside seating area and cosy bar!
