Drum and Foel-Fras

6 March 2022

No dogs

Do not walk if you are feeling unwell. Carry your own hand sanitiser. In case of an emergency ensure you have with you a face mask and first aid pack.
Inevitably, the route will go through gates and over stiles that other people will have touched. It may have narrow sections that mean you will be passing close to other people.

From the car park we head North West along the Roman Road for less than 1 km and then turn left to start the accent to Carnedd Doelm and then South to Drum. We will continue along the high level path until we reach the high point Foel-Fras. The route then takes off paths to reach Llyn Anafon a small remote reservoir. We then follow the track down a lovely steep sided valley to the North Wales Path following the Afon Anafon. The return to the start is then along another track heading East.
