Christmas Walk

Thursday 30 December 2021

Two dogs allowed

Do not walk if you are feeling unwell. Carry your own hand sanitiser. In case of an emergency ensure you have with you a face mask and first aid pack.
Inevitably, the route will go through gates and over stiles that other people will have touched. It may have narrow sections that mean you will be passing close to other people.

This is our Christmas social walk with coffee and mince pies at the end – many thanks to Ian and Paula for their hospitality!

This walk starts at the car park at Rose Farm, Utkinton and ends at Ian and Paula’s house (in Utkinton).

We walk along the lanes through Utkinton to Primrose Wood, a detached section of Delamere Forest, and then along good tracks through the woodland. We follow the Sandstone trail for a short time to reach Tirley Lane and then back to Utkinton for refreshments and more chat!

The pace will be leisurely but Ian and Paula are also happy for people to join us for mince pies at the end of the walk.

Rose Farm have kindly agreed to us parking there but have asked that we park on the right (along the hedge under the skips).
