Two dogs allowed

Do not walk if you are feeling unwell. Carry your own hand sanitiser. In case of an emergency ensure you have with you a face mask and first aid pack.
Inevitably, the route will go through gates and over stiles that other people will have touched. It may have narrow sections that mean you will be passing close to other people.

This is a short social walk which will be at a leisurely pace and will be followed by lunch at the Dysart Arms.

It is a circular walk around the picturesque Cheshire village of Bunbury, starting near the imposing 14th century St Boniface’s church.

We walk down quiet lanes to the Shropshire Union Canal and then along the tow path to Bunbury Staircase Locks. We leave the canal just before Calveley, crossing fields and then walking along quiet lanes back to Bunbury, passing Bunbury Mill on route.

There are good paths and tracks throughout the walk but some of the fields may be muddy!
