Starting in the centre of Oscroft the route firstly travels across several fields before picking up a track that leads on to Kelsall. Here we pass the Morris Dancer pub then cross the high street before taking a route up past the methodist church and along lanes and paths until we cross the Kelsall bypass. After passing through the old fruit farm, now inhabited only by sheep we reach the highpoint of the walk and open views across towards Ashton and beyond. Descending through fields we walk briefly along Longley Lane until we bear left to pick up firstly the Eddisbury Way and then later the Baker Way. The route takes us along a woodland path followed by tracks and lanes before we reach Ashton. After skirting around the edge of the village we then head back across further fields and tracks to arrive back in Oscroft in time for the Charity Picnic.
